Earlier this year we gave you the scoop on the brand-new rear-wheel drive version of the Huracan EVO that is set to arrive sometime this spring. In that article, we posited the question of whether or not there would be a Huracan EVO RWD Spyder but did not yet have the answer. Now, we do, as we can say unequivocally there will indeed be a Spyder version of the Lamborghini Huracan EVO Rear-Wheel Drive.

“The Huracan EVO Rear-Wheel Drive Spyder doubles the driving fun, delivering raw driving pleasure with the opportunity to celebrate life outside. The drive is perfectly in touch with Lamborghini’s engineering heritage, experiencing the feedback and engagement from the set-up of a rear-wheel drive car where electronic intrusion is minimized, while enjoying the sense of freedom and spirit of life that only open-top driving provides.”– Stefano Domenicali, Chairman & CEO, Automobili Lamborghini
How fast is the Huracan EVO RWD Spyder?
Performance isn’t quite the same in the Spyder as they are in the regular Huracan EVO RWD. The naturally aspirated V10 Lamborghini engine is capable of generating 510 horsepower alongside 413 pound-feet of torque, which enables it to hit a top speed of just over 201 miles per hour and to get from 0-62 mph in just 3.5 seconds. While those power ratings match the regular EVO RWD, it’s not quite as quick, comparing to an excess of 202 mph and 3.3 seconds respectively.
When will the Huracan EVO RWD Spyder be available?
Across the globe, early purchasers of the Lamborghini Huracan EVO Rear-Wheel Drive Spyder will begin taking delivery sometime this summer. If you’re interested in one of your own, be sure to reach out to us right away to take delivery as early as possible!
