Lamborghini world’s most expensive retail car
Priced at $2.76 million, the iconic Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is not only the world’s most expensive car, but it’s also too fast to drive on roads. This makes it the first Lamborghini model that is too fast to be street legal.
According to news reports at the model’s release, the Sesto Elemento features a futuristic and lightweight carbon fibre body that allows it to reach incredible speeds exceedingly quickly. It’s lightweight construction weighs only 2,202 lbs, and derives power from a V10 engine and permanent all-wheel drive. This means it can go from 0-62 mph in just 2.5 second. However, its light frame makes it too light to meet roadworthiness regulations.
While this amazing model won’t be seen on the road, its exclusiveness makes it well-worth the investment. With only a total of 20 cars produced, you’ll find that driving the Sesto Elemento on private tracks is well worth it for the thrill.
