It’s an exciting time for Lamborghini. The Aventador S has been a huge success, the Urus is grabbing a lot of attention, and the Aventador SVJ is out there breaking records. For most companies, now would be a time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the fruits of labor, but that is never the case with Lamborghini. If you’re not moving forward, you’re losing. That’s why they just unveiled the Lamborghini SC18. What is the Lamborghini SC18? we can tell you all about it.
Have you ever wondered what would happen if you combined the Aventador SVJ with a Huracan Super Trofeo Evo racecar? Lamborghini seems to have been wondering the same thing because that’s essentially what the Lamborghini SC18 is.
That may be a little reductive, but with the Aventador SVJ 770-horsepower V12 in back, air intakes like a Huracan GT3 Evo, and fins and air scoops inspired by the Huracan Super Trofeo Evo, this machine is essentially lightning wrapped in a unique carbon fiber body.

The SC18 was built for the track. With just 109 mm (4.2 inches) of ground clearance, carbon fiber seats, adjustable aerodynamics, and Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, this machine will make a home of any track. However, this is a one-off car built for a specific customer, and as of this writing, there are no plans to build any others quite like it.
Lamborghini Aventador S vs Lamborghini Aventador SVJ
Though Lamborghini did not release official details on the name, it is easy enough to piece together. This time, there are no famous bulls or bull-fighting terms involved. The 18 is surely just a reference to the year in which this car was completed. The SC stands for Squadra Corse which is the name of the Lamborghini motorsport division.
This is the first one-off customer car that Squadra Corse has ever built, but they hope that it will pave the way for further projects with personal touches like this one. Seeing the results, we surely hope that’s the case. In case you were curious, Squadra Corse is actually just Italian for “racing team.”
Squadra Corse is responsible for all of the racing that Lamborghini does. From the Huracan GT3 Evo and Huracan Super Trofeo Evo races to any other race where Lamborghini supports a factory presence. They also hope to expand and support a Urus racing series with the new Urus ST-X concept as a starting point.
