The Korean Special edition Lamborghinis are a result of the support and adulation it has been getting from the Korean customer base. Centro Stile, which is the design center of Lamborghini, has designed these special editions with design elements inspired by both Korea and Italy. The two units are draped with two distinct primary colors of Korea. One unit has the ‘Green Ocno’ exterior color that symbolizes ‘warm Korean sentiment’ while the other unit has the ‘Blue Emera’ exterior color that symbolizes ‘intelligence and wisdom’. The interior elements are colored with ‘Bianco Leda’ symbolizing ‘the white-clad race’ which means – the national spirit of Korea.
The design of this special edition is inspired by the Korean culture and carries elements from the republic’s flag as well as patterns and colors from traditional Korean windows. The front bonnet left and right door panels and rear fender feature the patterns of the Korean traditional windows, featuring a criss-cross of both vertical and horizontal lines. Additionally, the engine room features two trigrams of the Korean flag – Geon and Gam – instilling a sense of patriotism among Koreans.
It is disheartening to know that these Lambos are designed only for the Korean market and are limited to just two units. But as they say – anything is possible and hence, we might be able to see one of these beauties here in the U.S.
