What’s new for the Huracan EVO?

Upgrades to the Lamborghini Huracan EVO

The Lamborghini Huracan is a beautiful machine. However, it’s being replaced with even more power and features by the Huracan EVO. Find out what’s new for this upgraded version of the Lamborghini icon as we explore all the major upgrades to the Lamborghini Huracan EVO. We’ll take a look at the engine, explore interior improvements, and more.

Performance improvements to the Huracan EVO

The biggest deal when it comes to performance is what comes under the bonnet. You still get a genuine Lamborghini V10 engine, but this is the engine from the Huracan Performante. That means the Huracan EVO packs 640 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque.

That’s not all though. The Huracan EVO also improves its aerodynamic qualities considerably. Though it still maintains the same iconic and sharp look of the Huracan, the Huracan EVO sports a new front splitter with an integrated wing. With a double airway in the underbody and new flaps, the Huracan EVO can boast of an aerodynamic load five times greater than the outgoing Huracan.

The Huracan EVO now features four-wheel steering

One of the features that the Aventador and now the Aventador S could brag about that the Huracan never had was four-wheel steering. That is no longer the case though as the Huracan EVO incorporates a similar system.

By allowing the rear wheels to steer into the corners, this car has greater maneuverability than ever before. The system even achieves more high-speed stability. This four-wheel-steering system adapts to your driving mode and your speed to always achieve superior results.

Interior improvements to the Huracan EVO

The interior of the Huracan was near perfect. However, technology is always marching forward, and that’s why the Huracan EVO gets an infotainment upgrade with its new HMI system. HMI stands for Human-Machine Interface, and it’s an 8.4-inch touchscreen in the center console.

Through this new multi-touch system, the driver can not only interface with their smartphone, control navigation, and tune the radio, but the driver can also control the driving dynamics of the Huracan and access live telemetry.
