The past few days have been good days for the convertible supercar market. First, the Lamborghini Huracan EVO Spyder was announced, and now the latest extreme performance version of the Aventador, the Aventador SVJ, will be getting its own convertible version. When is the release date of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster? We have your answers and more.
The Aventador SVJ coupe was limited to just 900 units, so it’s reasonable to assume that the Aventador SVJ Roadster will have similar limits on its production. That appears to be the case as currently, Lamborghini is limiting the run of the Aventador SVJ Roadster to just 800 units. This makes the Aventador SVJ Roadster over 10% less common than the coupe version.
Typically, the convertible version of a car carries a higher premium, and that is the case here as well. The Aventador SVJ Coupe has a starting MSRP in the states of $517,770, but the Roadster version is just over $50,000 more with a starting SMRP of $573,966.
This will make the Aventador SVJ Roadster the most premium model currently on offer from Lamborghini. This excludes the Aventador SVJ 63 (limited to just 63 models for an undisclosed price) and any one-off cars that Lamborghini makes for certain prestigious clients.

The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ coupe versions have already been delivered to some customers, and the Aventador SVJ Roadster is coming fast.
Currently, Lamborghini expects the first customers on the list to receive there’s in summer 2019.
